For venues

Help people find your ice

For teams at arenas, independent rinks and seasonal venues. Start with the working tools. Find future features in their own section.

Why take part?

1 Why use Nakatok.by if we already have a good website?

Your website answers “What does our rink offer?” Nakatok.by answers “Where can I skate today?”

The service helps people compare places, find a suitable time and discover what you offer while they are deciding where to go. It complements your website rather than replacing it.

2 What if we actively use social media?

Social media is convenient for your existing audience. Someone still choosing a rink should not have to visit dozens of pages and compare schedules manually. Nakatok.by helps them find you and then reach your own channels.

3 Is the service suitable for a seasonal rink?

Yes. A place can be an ice arena, a small independent rink or a seasonal venue. Having a page does not mean management has been verified or the season is open. Ice surfaces and outdoor areas within a complex can be described on its page.

4 Our page already exists. Why get management access?

Once your authority is verified, you can update venue details and schedules yourself, invite colleagues and assign them permissions.

A photo gallery, venue page statistics and other future features are described in the “Planned” section.

5 Do we need to pay just to be in the directory?

No. A factual listing and published information do not require buying a plan. The directory and additional tools for representatives are different things.

Getting management access

1 Where should we start?

Create a personal account and a team, find the place and submit a management request. Access is granted only after authority is verified. Creating a team or sending a request does not itself grant rights to the page.

2 What if our rink is not in the directory yet?

Tell us about it with its name, address and links to official sources. Adding a page and verifying management are separate actions. Suggesting a place does not grant permissions or guarantee publication.

3 How is management authority checked?

Submit a request in your team dashboard. We will check your authority to represent the venue and agree the management period. You can verify your authority with a code sent to the venue’s verified official email address or to your work email address on an approved domain. If no suitable email address is available, publish a confirmation on the venue’s official website or social media page.

We do not use telephone calls for verification. You do not need to provide a personal phone number to verify your authority.

4 How does email verification work?

The service sends a code to the venue's verified official email or your work email on a verified domain. Enter the code in the request form. Do not forward it to members of the website administration or other people.

You cannot enter an arbitrary domain and thereby obtain management access.

5 Can an address from a public email provider be used?

Yes, if that specific address is independently verified as the venue's official contact. The provider's name proves nothing. An applicant's personal email without a verified connection to the venue is not sufficient.

6 What should we publish on a website or social media page?

Staff verify the resource and prepare a statement naming the request, venue, team, agreed period and public marker. Publish the complete statement on the agreed resource and submit its URL through your dashboard. It must explicitly authorise management of the listing. The marker is public, but codes from email verification must never be published.

7 Is a screenshot or a page with a similar name enough?

No. Staff open the original and check the official resource, request, venue, team, period and permission to manage. A name, photo or follower count is not enough. If changes are needed, you will see an explanation in your dashboard. Correct the publication and submit the URL again. You may remove it after successful verification.

8 What if the rink has no website, social media page or email?

Use a verified official channel of the venue owner, complex or park. It must explicitly confirm your team's right to manage this venue for the agreed period. Without a verifiable channel, management access cannot yet be granted. The listing can remain in the directory, and information can still be contributed without management access.

9 Do we need to send a passport or company documents?

Scans are not required for ordinary verification. Company registration does not prove a connection to the rink or the applicant's authority. A passport, selfie or payment cannot replace verification either. For an exceptional case, agree the specific evidence with support first. Do not send an entire contract or unrelated personal information.

Your team and individual accounts

1 How do I add an employee?

The owner or a member with the necessary authority invites a colleague by email and assigns working permissions. The recipient signs in to their own account and accepts the invitation. The employee's permissions take effect only after they accept the invitation.

2 Can I give my password to a colleague?

No. One account must not be used by several people. Each person creates an individual account and receives the permissions they need. They must explicitly confirm this rule when accepting the invitation.

If several people use one account, it may be temporarily restricted while the situation is reviewed. Do not share sign-in or confirmation codes either.

3 How many employees can we add?

There is currently no numerical limit on team size. What matters is individual accounts and correctly assigned permissions, not the number of people.

4 Can an employee assign permissions to other members?

Only a member with permission to manage staff can do this. They can assign roles and permissions only within their authorised scope. Working in the team does not by itself make someone its owner.

5 How do I transfer ownership if I leave the team?

Use the separate ownership transfer action. The new owner accepts it personally from their own account. An ordinary employee invitation does not replace an ownership transfer. Until the recipient accepts, the transfer is not complete.

6 If an email does not arrive, do I need to revoke the invitation or transfer?

No. Check the address and spam folder, then resend once the displayed waiting time has passed. Resending does not revoke an invitation or ownership transfer. If the problem continues, contact support.

7 Can one team manage several places?

Yes, but authority is verified separately for each place. Employees receive permissions only within the required scope. A future subscription will also cover a specific place rather than automatically covering all the team's rinks.

Venue details and schedules

1 What happens if service or schedule information is inaccurate?

List only services and skating times that are genuinely available. Members of the website administration review complaints independently of your team. A complaint alone does not establish a violation. Where an inaccuracy is established, the service may withdraw a specific service or time and, where necessary, review further changes before publication. A paid plan or verified authority does not override these rules.

2 How can we explain the situation or dispute a decision?

Open “Information accuracy” from your venue editor or schedules in the management area. It shows the reason, expiry or reassessment date and questions from staff. Send an explanation and identify available evidence. The decision is not lifted automatically, and information does not return by itself when it ends. The complainant’s personal details and internal review materials are not disclosed.

3 Can we urgently remove a service or cancel skating during review?

Yes. Do not wait for review when a service is unavailable or skating is cancelled. You can remove the service immediately. A cancellation withdraws the relevant time from the previously published schedule without publishing other draft edits. Choose skating without sessions only when visitors can genuinely arrive at any time within the stated interval. The building’s opening hours may be different.

4 What can we change after verification?

The management area provides basic venue details, ice surfaces and halls, and a schedule editor. Your permissions and current management term are checked when opening and saving changes. Access to the management area does not mean unrestricted permission for every action.

5 How do we work with schedules?

You can prepare periods, weekly and one-off sessions, replacements and cancellations. A cancellation can cover one session, a time range or an entire day. Enter a session that crosses midnight as one event.

Saved changes remain a draft until an authorised team member checks and publishes them. Visitors see the last published version in the meantime.

6 Are changes published immediately?

No. A member of the verified team with permission to manage the schedule checks the prepared schedule and selects Publish. Each schedule does not need separate approval from a service administrator. If publication fails, visitors keep seeing the last published schedule. Results returned from uploaded materials are not published automatically.

If the source has review items, check the specified details, save corrections and confirm the review of each item. Further edits require another review. Optional formatting advice does not prevent publication.

Check the status: “saved” and “shown to visitors” are not the same thing.

7 How long does a fresh schedule label last?

Normally seven days from review. Afterwards the schedule does not disappear, but the freshness label is removed. Verified venue management and schedule review have different validity periods and do not replace each other.

8 Why is updating schedules so important?

Visitors want an opportunity to skate at a suitable time, not just a building. Timely information about sessions, rescheduling and cancellations helps them choose your rink and avoid a wasted journey. Holidays and competitions are especially important.

9 Can we upload a photo, PDF or spreadsheet instead of entering everything manually now?

Yes. In the schedule materials section, send text, files or both. You can attach up to five files for one schedule: images, PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX), ODT, Excel (XLS/XLSX), CSV, TXT or saved web pages (HTM/HTML). Each file can be up to 20 MiB. Files and text together must not exceed 50 MiB.

TXT, HTM and HTML files must use UTF-8 encoding. Scripts in saved web pages are not run. External images and other files referenced by the page are not downloaded. If the schedule is shown as an image, attach that image separately.

Original files are kept. After processing, check the result, create a draft and make any corrections. Publishing is a separate step. You can use the regular editor while the materials are being processed.

10 Who reviews visitor suggestions about our venue?

Ordinary suggestions about schedules, venue details and operating periods are available to the verified team in the management area. First decide whether the material can be used. Approving schedule processing does not mean publishing it. A visitor message does not replace your data without review. You can refer a disputed matter to a member of the website administration with an explanation. Complaints about the team are reviewed independently of that team.

11 Who handles errors, and can complete accuracy be guaranteed?

The service reviews submitted information, but schedules and conditions can change at the last minute. Report errors and urgent changes as soon as possible. A visitor's message does not replace official data without review.

Seasons, breaks and venue pages

1 What happens at the end of the season?

The venue page and history remain. Management verification may expire, requiring a fresh check before further changes. This does not automatically give the place to another team.

Reverification does not by itself reopen previously closed job postings or mean that the new season has already begun.

2 What should we do if there is no public skating in summer?

Do not add sessions that do not exist. Enter the known operating period in the available details and report the break. Having no skating in summer does not mean that the venue has permanently closed.

3 Will the page be deleted if the rink closes temporarily or permanently?

A closure does not require the page to disappear: people continue to find it through old links. Tell us what kind of closure it is and the dates, if known. It is important to distinguish a break, the end of a season and permanent closure.

4 What should we do about a duplicate page?

Send both links and explain why they refer to the same place. A staff member will check the details. Do not try to claim management of someone else's page to remove a duplicate.

5 Does the page address need to change after a rename?

No. Names and page addresses change separately. When an address change is approved, old links redirect to the new one. Renaming must not reset the venue's history.

Free launch and help

1 Do we need to pay now, and when will free use of the service end?

Paid plans are not on sale at the moment. Verified teams can use the working tools available to them free of charge. Features marked as future plans are not available yet. There is no predetermined common end date for the free launch.

The conditions are in the Free Access Rules. If conditions for using the service free of charge change, we will post a notice on the website explaining what changes and from which date.

2 Will free use of the service become paid automatically?

No. Its end does not charge money, create a debt or start a subscription. Future paid participation will require a separate choice and confirmed purchase. Declining to pay does not remove the venue page or collected factual information.

3 Can we buy a green marker, first place or guaranteed customers?

No. Colour reflects official participation and schedule freshness. A plan does not let you choose a colour, buy a user rating or buy hidden first place in ordinary search. Visitor and enquiry numbers are not guaranteed.

Free official participation counts towards labels in the same way as other active participation. Schedule freshness is still checked separately.

4 Who can help with an error, a dispute or personal data?

Contact support or email bukinapps@yandex.ru. Give the place, link and nature of your question. Do not send passwords or codes. For account closure or a request about your data, write from your account email. See the Personal Data Processing Policy for details.

5 Can we add a button to buy tickets?

Yes, if the link lets visitors pay for tickets to the published skating session. The button opens a page on another website where they can choose and pay for tickets. Our service does not sell tickets or take payment for them.

During the free launch, venues whose representatives have verified management authority can use the button with the Official plan or higher activated free of charge. Once sales begin, the button will require the Promotion or Flagship plan. Without an eligible plan or free activation, the purchase URL is not shown to visitors. Instead of opening the ticket page, the button shows an explanation. This does not change the venue's participation status or its inclusion in the Online tickets filter.

Service conditions and reviews

1 Where can we describe special service conditions?

In the venue editor, choose “Conditions and details” beside a service. Describe the rules for using the service and any important restrictions. Choose the text's language and add a source link if you have one. Separately indicate whether the service is available. If our staff have restricted this service because its details were incorrect, adding a description will not lift that restriction. Changes remain in the history. After changing the text, update its previous translations.

Prices, discounts, concessions and restrictions can already be described in service and skating conditions. Uploading photographs is a separate feature that is still planned.

2 Which photographs can we publish?

Uploading venue photographs from the dashboard is still planned. It will be available to verified venue representatives with the appropriate permission.

Use up-to-date photographs of your venue for which you have the necessary rights and permissions. If a photographer took the pictures, check that your agreement or licence allows publication on our website and lets you grant us the permission to use them described in our terms.

The person publishing the photographs is responsible for respecting the rights to the submitted material. We recommend recent photographs you have taken yourself, in good quality. Blurred, very dark or outdated photographs may be rejected.

3 How can we reply to visitors?

Open “Visitor reviews” in the management area. A team member can reply with the appropriate permission while the venue's management verification is valid. We first check the reply and suggest edits. After you confirm the text, the website administration reviews it. Only an approved reply is shown to visitors. Editing a published reply requires another check. Replies to reviews are included in the Official plan and higher plans. This feature is free to use during the free launch period.

4 How do we send news to the venue's followers?

Open the reviews section in the management area and create a news message. Team members with permission to send news can do this while the venue's management verification is valid. After the text is checked, you can read and confirm the suggested version. The site administrators will then review it. An approved message appears in the accounts of visitors who saved the venue and enabled its news. Their email addresses are not shared with your team. Your plan determines how many messages you can send each month.

5 Can we remove a negative review or change a rating?

Representatives cannot change or delete other people's reviews. Report a violation if a text contains abuse, advertising or personal information. Disagreeing with a rating is not a reason to remove it. Members of the website administration review the report regardless of the venue's plan.

Team members cannot rate their own venue as independent visitors. Service ratings are separate and do not change the venue's overall rating.

Planned: developing the service

1 Will we be able to publish more than public skating?

Yes. The Promotion and Flagship plans include a full ice schedule: training, matches, school and club lessons and other events. For each event, choose details, occupied time only or team-only visibility. Closures and maintenance breaks do not require an extended plan.

Uploads and the manual editor keep every type of event. To show training, matches and other additional events to visitors, you need the Promotion or Flagship plan. The service can also enable these features separately free of charge. Check the schedule and choose “Publish”. Activating a plan or enabling free features does not make private entries public.

When the subscription to the Promotion or Flagship plan or free use of full-schedule features ends, previously published additional events starting within seven days after that date remain visible. Later events stay in the working schedule only. After reactivating the plan or resuming free use, choose which events to publish again. Public skating, closures and maintenance breaks are not affected.

2 Which plans are being prepared, and where can we see prices?

Official, Promotion and Flagship. Their proposed features, prices by town or city and future payment rules are on the Plans & pricing page. They cannot be purchased yet.

3 How long will our activated plan price be protected?

For the rest of the paid activation year and three further full calendar years. For example, activation on any day in 2027 protects the full agreed price through December 31, 2030, inclusive. Using the plan free of charge does not start this period. A temporary discount and a one-time credit do not become a permanent subscription price.

The price list may be revised no more than once per calendar year, only from January 1. The new price is fixed for the year, but does not cancel your protection. A year is added to a plan name only once that edition is archived, for example “Official 2027”. Existing subscriptions keep the archived edition, but it is unavailable for new activation or a return after changing plans.

4 What happens when the protection period ends?

We will notify you of a price increase in the management area at least three calendar months ahead. We will also email the team owner. We will show the old and new prices and the date of the first renewal at the new price. You can accept or turn off renewal after the period you have already paid for.

Silence is not consent. Without a response, we will not charge the higher price, and the subscription will not renew after the paid period. If the notice is late, the increase will not apply on the upcoming January 1. Paid periods are not recalculated. An annual price change within the same plan does not start another three years of protection.

5 What if we choose to switch to a more expensive plan?

You will be able to choose a higher plan from the price list on sale at that time. Its price will be shown before payment. The unused paid part of the old period reduces only the first payment. The calculation uses the actual period length rather than an assumed 30 days. Later renewals use the full agreed price.

Successful payment starts a new full period and a new price-protection term. For example, switching from the Official plan to the Promotion plan in June 2029 protects the new plan's price through the end of 2032. There is no three-month wait because you choose the change yourself. If payment fails, the old plan and its protection remain unchanged. After a successful switch, you cannot return to the previous archived edition.

6 Does the venue need a paid plan for visitors’ personal meetups?

No. Visitors can create meetups, invite friends and choose whether to attend for free. This does not buy a ticket or book the ice. The venue itself needs the Promotion or Flagship plan to publish training, matches and other additional events. News for followers is sent separately under the rules for team messages. Managing a venue’s page does not give its representatives access to other people’s private meetups.

7 Which communication tools are already available?

Venue teams can send news to followers from the management dashboard. A personal meetup’s organizer and approved participants receive bell notifications when a cancellation or change to the event it was created for is published. These notifications appear on the website. They are not emailed or sent to every visitor. Polls, photo galleries and other communication tools remain planned.

8 Will we be able to promote classes and coaches and offer rink rental?

We plan pages for schools, classes and coaches, enrolment, events, party offers, vacancies and listings of available ice rental times, for example for a team's practice. Visitors will be able to submit enquiries. An enquiry will not itself be a confirmed booking: making the arrangement remains up to you.

9 What statistics will representatives receive?

We plan aggregate indicators of interest in the venue page and schedule, website referrals, contact enquiries and other available actions. This does not mean giving out a list of visitors, their IP addresses or other internal service data. More detailed statistics and exports are included in future plans.

10 Will we be able to receive the schedule on our own website?

Yes, exports and automatic access to your own data without manual copying are planned. Website integration, combined tools and enhanced presentation are described in the proposed Flagship plan.

11 Will descriptions in different languages and history survive a rename?

We plan to show the name and description of one place in different languages, such as Russian and English. These will be language versions of a single page, not different rinks in the directory.

If a place is renamed, its history, reviews and followers will remain linked to the same page. Names and descriptions in other languages can be updated without creating the place again. An approved page-address change should not break these connections either.

12 How will a short page address work?

This means a link to the venue page that is convenient to print on posters or send to visitors. For example, instead of /минск/ледовая-площадка-северный-парк/, you could propose /минск/северный-парк/. This is an illustrative example, not an address that is already available. The town or city stays in the address to distinguish places with the same name.

After the first actual paid period, we plan a lasting right to propose a shorter address within your town or city. Free use of the service and bonuses do not count as payment.

The address must be available and clear. You cannot take another venue's address, a reserved service address or a historical address that has already been used. After approval, the old address will redirect to the new one, and ending the subscription will not take away the right already granted. This paid feature has not launched yet.
